At Impossible Drinks we take cookies seriously — the kind that pair beautifully with a rare dram, not the kind that follow you around the internet. Which keeps this policy refreshingly short.
One cookie, and only with your permission
This website uses a single marketing cookie: the Meta pixel. It helps us see how our advertising on Facebook and Instagram performs, so we spend our budget on the right bottles rather than the wrong banners. The pixel is placed only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Decline, and nothing is stored on your device — the site works exactly the same either way.
If you do accept, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited sets cookies (such as _fbp) that recognise your browser for up to three months, and receives information about your visit to this site. Meta also uses this data for its own purposes, described in Meta’s privacy policy.
Changing your mind
You can review or withdraw your choice whenever you like:
Withdrawing consent stops any further data collection. Cookies already on your device can be removed through your browser settings.
No other trackers
Beyond the Meta pixel described above, we run no advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third party, so merely reading this page shares your details with no one.
How we count visits
We do like to know which pages are read, so that we can keep improving the site. For that we use Pirsch Analytics, a privacy-friendly service hosted in the European Union. It sets no cookies, builds no personal profiles and cannot follow you across other websites. It tells us aggregated numbers only — how many people read a page and roughly where they arrived from. Never who you are.
When you leave our site
Our pages link to Instagram and WhatsApp. Follow such a link and you become their guest rather than ours, at which point their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
What are cookies?
For completeness: cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit it. They store information about your visit, which lets a site recognise you on a later one — handy when a site would otherwise ask you to log in every time. Ours uses just the one described above, and only when you allow it.
